My practice revolves around environmental issues, nature, and animal welfare, using photography.
I explore ways of going beyond photography by manipulating and constructing my photographs into three-dimensional shapes and digital forms. I have captured pollution and animals in environmental conditions set by humans, before editing my images further by distorting them. To further the connection between human pollution and animal welfare, I have created four sculptures constructed from photographs. My mission is to raise awareness of how enormous human’s impact is on Earth and to show insight into how resilient nature is: life and death in the same story.
